Andrew Solomon



Before joining 2M, Andrew worked as an Independent Petroleum Landman for five years. In that time, he worked on projects for several publicly traded E&P companies, including Antero Resources, Chesapeake Energy, Newfield Exploration and Devon Energy. He has land experience in several exploration plays across Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Wyoming. Most significantly, Andrew spent two years (2012-2014) working in Southeast Ohio in the highly competitive Utica shale play. He was a member of a twelve person lease team that amassed 105,000 acres across five counties in two years. The acreage position boast several of the top 10 producing wells in Ohio. 

Andrew graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Economics. Andrew is a Registered Landman with the AAPL and a member of the Oklahoma City Association of Petroleum Landman. Outside professional endeavors, Andrew is the Co-Founder and current Historian of the Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Young Professional Board (Innovative Board) and is serving his second term on the Casady School Alumni Board.
